In Alberta, MNP and the Government of Alberta have partnered to offer you the Self-Employment (SE) Program. Funded by the provincial and federal governments, the program is designed for unemployed or underemployed individuals wanting to start a business. In addition to the targeted entrepreneurial training with business plan development, the Self-Employment Program also provides participants with access to MNP experienced advisors in fields such as cash flow, bookkeeping, tax, business planning, research, marketing, human resources and strategy. Participants also get one-on-one business coaching during the initial launch of their business.
To date, more than 2,000 small businesses across Canada have been supported through the program. With an 80% success rate*, the SE Program has a proven track record helping aspiring entrepreneurs get their businesses off the ground.
