BUSINESS-to-BUSINESS CUSTOMER CONTACT REPRESENTATIVE

Major Purpose or Objective of the Position:

Working within the Customer Contact Centre, you will be responsible for establishing primary contact to potential employers and internship hosts, logging their contact information within our Contact Management System and connecting them with the Career Services Team at triOS College Business Technology Healthcare.

Duties include, but are not limited to, business to business outbound calling utilizing directories and supplied lists, working with the triOS College Contact Management System, booking appointments, following up on initial contacts and updating current contact information, as well as email correspondence.

Customer Contact Representatives are evaluated on business performance criteria through quality monitoring and productivity measures and will be coached regularly on their performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Outbound Calling

Being triOS College’s first point of contact to potential employers and internship hosts throughout Southern Ontario, you will be responsible for:

  • Prospecting and establishing new opportunities for our graduates in a polished and professional manner.
  • Booking appointments on behalf of our Career Services Team
  • Following up on initial contacts
  • Updating current contact information within our database
  • Maintaining general knowledge and understanding of triOS College’s products and services.

Data Entry

  • Working with both our Customer Contact and Contact Management Systems, you will be responsible for:
  • Procuring information from your prospects, including their full name, contact information, as well as other data sets deemed required within the system
  • Entering and storing the information within our systems for ongoing customer contact

Appointment Booking

  • Booking meetings or telephone conferences with potential employers and our Career Services Team
  • Booking appointments in Outlook and matching the prospect’s schedule with the availability of the Career Service Consultant within a timely manner
  • Sending confirmations of booked appointments to your prospects, along with relevant information that has been requested or applies to the situation
  • Endeavour to sign prospects up to receive our email newsletter

Student Employment Validation

  • Outbound calls to Employers to validate student employment
  • Outbound Calls to Students on Cumulative List to verify employment status

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong communication, customer service and sales skills
  • Ability to deal with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Comprehensive knowledge and skills in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
  • Advanced Internet user with good knowledge of MS Outlook and MS Internet Explorer
  • Accurate and efficient typing speed

EXPERIENCE:

Formal education and training

  • Minimum, Grade 12 (OSSGD or equivalent) required
  • Formal training in Customer Service, MS Office, and Business Administration preferred

Work Experience

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a related occupation or at least 2 years experience in non-related occupation preferred
